Defining Moments

How I responded to discouragement

  • THE NOISE

    Messages from Society in general:

You should look perfect and be nice.

  • How I responded:

I started doing what I loved and working hard, which sometimes meant getting dirty and doing things that weren't always "nice". I didn't have time to care about what I looked like or who liked me...that was when I fell in love with myself and began to blossom.
